Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Collins is an Mexican American sportscaster. She hosts SportsNation and is a SportsCenter anchor. She joined ESPN in 2016. joined ESPN. The daughter of TV journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is bilingual and has been since the age of nine. This skill allowed her to land her first job at Univision, Miami. She could work as a producer for national programs like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Then, in St. Petersburg, she was recruited by the CBS station as an sports reporter. She moved in 2009 into Rio Grande Valley, Texas to become an investigative reporter for KNVO TV 48 Univision. On a trip, Antonietta stayed at her sister's house in Canton Ohio. Her older Collins sibling had recently gotten a new job. Antonietta was about to graduate from high school but already knew what she was going to do. She loved the campus. It also gave her the degree she wanted. After graduation, she went to the university with a media studies major. Mark Bergmann, her professor who was also WRMU's 91.1FM station, where she was employed for a number of years, was an acquaintance. Professor Bergmann encouraged her to have self-confidence and was deeply touched by his love of journalism.
